The Kalispel Tribe of Indians purchased the three-parcel raceway formerly known as the Spokane County Raceway in October 2021, renaming the property Qlispé RacewayPark (QRP).

The property includes nearly 300 acres with a drag strip, road course and oval track.

The track will open in a limited capacity for the 2022 season beginning in April (as weather permits). The Tribe plans to have a full season of scheduled races on the drag strip and road course by 2023, welcoming the return of Top Fuel/Top Alcohol Dragsters, Nitro/Blown Alcohol Funny Cars, Jet Cars and Wheel-standers.

At this time, the oval track will likely not be used for racing events as it needs new paving and significant additional investment. We’ll keep you posted when additional information becomes available.

The Tribe has committed to purchasing a new timing system for the drag strip and hopes to have it installed by the end of the 2022 racing season.

Qlispé Raceway Park will primarily be open for leasing and facility rentals early in the 2022 season, with plans to hold some smaller tribal-sponsored events later in the summer.

Demand for the ability to rent or lease the drag strip, road course and other parts of the property for car races, swap meets, obstacle courses, bicycle races, fun runs, car shows, driving schools and other events has been steadily increasing as the season approaches.
